The Liturgy Committee accepts its mission to provide an environment that promotes a full, conscious and active participation in worship as a people of God.  Members meet the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m.  All parishioners are welcome.

Altar Servers assist the presider at all worship services.  Boys and girls from 4th grade through high school are invited to participate.  Training is provided.

The Children’s Liturgy ministry is committed to meeting the needs of the children of our parish by providing worship experiences designed to enable them to worship at their own level.  Children’s Liturgy also encourages families to celebrate church feasts and seasons in the home, supporting family prayer and strong family unity. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is celebrated weekly throughout the year during the 11:30 a.m. Mass.

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion share the Body and Blood of Christ with fellow parishioners during parish liturgies, as well as taking communion to those confined to their homes or nursing facilities.  Eucharistic Ministers must be parishioners who are confirmed and actively practicing their faith and willing to participate in a training session and ongoing formation.

Lectors proclaim the Scripture readings of the day from the Lectionary, lead the Prayers of the Faithful and read the announcements of the day at parish liturgies. All are welcome to participate in this ministry following training and formation.  Lectors are requested to renew this commitment annually.

The Liturgical Arts and Environment ministry designs and creates banners and are responsible for decorating the church for the Liturgical seasons of the year.

The Liturgical Sewing committee is for those talented in sewing and embroidery.   They make the infant Baptismal garments that are presented at the celebration of that sacrament.  Materials are provided.  The committee works with the Liturgical Arts and Environment ministry in the design and creation of banners, and the decorating of the upper Hall and Church for special occasions and Holidays.
